It’s cool to see that Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat is scheduled to release on 2010.10.10. In every 6 months a new Ubuntu is born. Usually it’s April and October. This time it’s three tens in a row. Today, for the first time I have been able to successfully complete a school assignment with no use of proprietary software. It was a DVD cover for our Digital Fine Arts final project and yeah I did it completely using The GIMP which came in-built with Ubuntu.
